nltGeoPriv

Geospatial Compliance Gateway

Privacy compliance resolved by geography, not guesswork. nltGeoPriv maps the world’s privacy laws to geofenced legal boundaries and returns the exact local law for a coordinate with an edge point-in-polygon lookup — the geospatial moat generic, IP-lookup compliance tools can’t copy.

nltGeoPriv is an AI-native compliance engine with a geospatial core. It normalizes global privacy laws into one predictable JSON schema, keeps them current through automated monitoring of official sources, and — instead of crude IP-to-country lookups — resolves jurisdiction by geography: legal boundaries are geofenced polygons, and a point-in-polygon check at the edge returns the exact municipal, tribal, state, or national law for a visitor’s coordinates. Near a stricter border, a spatial fallback applies the tougher rule automatically, so compliance never breaks at the edge of a map.

  • Point-in-polygon jurisdiction
  • Global laws, one schema
  • Automatically kept current
  • Edge-delivered API

How it works

Privacy laws care about physical, legal boundaries — not routing packets. nltGeoPriv treats the globe as an interactive layer of geofenced legal polygons, so a coordinate resolves to the exact law that applies there.

  1. 1

    Structure the law

Global privacy statutes are normalized into one standardized JSON schema by jurisdiction (country / region / state / municipality), versioned.

  2. 2

    Keep it current

Automated monitoring watches official government and legislative sources and proposes updates — to both the legal text and the boundary geometry — as changes are detected.

  3. 3

    Resolve by geography

A coordinate (HTML5 geolocation or edge geo signals) is checked point-in-polygon against optimized boundary layers at the edge — returning the exact municipal, tribal, state, or national law, not an IP-table guess.

  4. 4

    Handle the borders

Within a buffer of a stricter jurisdiction (a state line, a tribal boundary, a coastal zone), a spatial fallback applies the tougher rule automatically — eliminating border-edge compliance gaps.

  5. 5

    Deliver at the edge

Versioned datasets and boundary indexes are served as an edge API and cached globally, so the whole lookup happens fast and resilient under load.

See it resolve a coordinate to the exact privacy law — live, point-in-polygon, with cross-border strict fallback. Demos are guided; request access.

Product specs

The spatial moat at a glance

What makes nltGeoPriv a geospatial compliance gateway, not a text registry.

Point-in-polygon lookup

A geo endpoint resolves a coordinate against geofenced legal boundaries at the edge — municipal, tribal, state, and national.

Geofenced boundaries

Optimized boundary layers (TopoJSON/GeoJSON) mapped to real legal jurisdictions, maintained alongside the legal text by the same pipeline.

Spatial metadata

Each law carries a spatial block — centroid, bounding box, boundary checksum, and buffer-zone rules — so your app gets programmatic geographic context.

Cross-border fallback

A configurable buffer near a stricter jurisdiction triggers a strict spatial fallback, applying the tougher rule to remove border-edge liability.

Freshness

Automated monitoring of official sources — text and boundaries — with a review step before anything publishes.

Edge delivery

Keyed edge API plus boundary indexes cached globally for fast, resilient reads; registered free tier for one site, higher limits on paid tiers.

Built for

Location-aware, headless, IoT, and connected-vehicle apps — drop-in JSON, framework-agnostic, with a registered free tier to start.

Tiers

A registered free tier to start — a limited monthly volume for one registered site or domain — plus paid tiers that add the spatial layer (compiled edge-routing boundary files and the point-in-polygon geo endpoint). Access is by request during early access. Pricing — coming soon.

How you consume it

Resolve by coordinate, query the managed API, or license the dataset for your stack.

Geo endpoint (point-in-polygon)

Send a coordinate; one call returns the exact local law — no client-side jurisdiction logic, no IP-lookup guesswork.

Managed edge API

Query the keyed law endpoints — we host and cache the datasets and boundary indexes globally.

Licensed data delivery

License the law dataset into your own stack; the compiled spatial layer stays on the managed edge tier.

Practitioner-in-the-Middle

Results a human expert stands behind

You don’t just get AI results — you get results validated by NLT practitioners. AI-native output is checked against domain expertise and ground truth, corrected where needed, and delivered quality-assured.

On-demand professional service

A human-expert validation lifecycle you can call on for nltGeoPriv — and across every NLT product.

For compliance data specifically, both the legal text and the boundary geometry are reviewed against official sources before they publish — accountability for a domain where getting the law, and the map, right matters.

1

AI-native system produces results

The product’s AI-native engine generates an initial answer, map, or analysis from your data.

2
Human expert

NLT practitioner validates

A domain-expert NLT practitioner checks the result against ground truth and professional judgment.

3

Refine & correct

Findings are refined, reconciled with the source data, and corrected where the model needs a human hand.

4

Quality-assured, delivery-ready

You receive results a human expert stands behind — trustworthy and ready to act on.

Continuous improvement loop — practitioner feedback strengthens results over time

Why teams use nltGeoPriv

No border-edge gaps

Point-in-polygon plus a strict cross-border fallback means the right rule applies even on a state line, tribal boundary, or coastal zone — where IP lookups fail.

Always current

Automated ingestion keeps both the legal text and the boundary geometry up to date — no manual statute-tracking.

Global in one schema

Every jurisdiction in the same predictable JSON shape, with a consistent spatial block — write your integration once.

Built for the edge

Designed for location-aware, headless, IoT, and connected-vehicle apps that need a fast, resilient answer at request time.

Track record

nltGeoPriv is where NLT’s geospatial engineering meets compliance: legal boundaries as geofenced polygons, resolved by point-in-polygon at the edge. It structures the law into data — it does not provide legal advice or certify compliance.
